piranha pod

'Tis a Piranha Pod, designed for ~megasxlrfan, "One of the Necroverse's frightening examples of plant life, The Piranha Pods roam The Dark Plans in search of of their next meal. The Piranha Pods are basically mobile Venus Fly Trap Pods with roots for feet. When the Piranha Pods take root on the the soil they become Devil Trees."

Explanations: It moves by floating, and its vines sort of trail behind it. Some of it vines end in razor-sharp leaves, useful for stabbing and slicing prey. The rest are rather senstive, can sense air currents, heat, etc (since it doesn't have eyes), and tests the soil to determine if it's suitable to take root.

It has three "jaws". The two smaller ones do not have teeth, rather, those are strands that are clumped together and ooze extremely corrosive acid. The largest jaw has actual teeth, and stores aforementioned acid, which is what you see glowing yellow in there.
